I really like some of the songs on that album, but I find it hard to love the album in it's entirety.

Kinda, yeah. It was a bit hard to get into that album and listen to it all in one sitting. As a whole it can be hard to love at first, but I've listened to it so many times that it's impossible for me to dislike any part of it. Even it's oddball experimentations like "We Can Shoot You" or "Project X". It's extremely original, silly, and vivid; every track is wildly unique.
But that's enough of my review, lol. I respect your opinion wholeheartedly :)
